Mallayana is obsessed with delivering messages that resonate. Her ability to break through complex ideas with visual intuitiveness and efficient messaging supported by research and data creates impactful results.
She has led strategic planning initiatives, engaged in a wide range of marketing activities including focus group design and facilitation, communications, digital enablement, UX, and customer experience. She leads complex change management initiatives and change communications for a regional Blues plan. Mallayana takes a values-centered strategic approach to her work that addresses the big picture while recognizing that change happens at an individual level.
Mallayana holds a PhD in Business Psychology with a research focus on inequity in minority hiring. She also holds an M.S. in applied psychology, four Bachelors degrees with a B.A. degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications, a B.A. in Communication, a B.A. in psychology, and a B.A. in Business Administration, Leadership, and Management. She is certified as: AIM Trainer, AIM Accredited Practitioner, SafeTALK Suicide Prevention, ProSci Change Practitioner, and Lean Six Sigma.
