Carla is an executive coach and consultant whose work focuses on mindset change in individuals and organizations by leveraging the framework of business psychology and psychotherapy. Her focus is helping make work settings more humane and bring harmony to the lives of decisions makers who impact culture through positive psychology, diversity, and inclusion.Â
Carla seeks to broaden awareness of change that is required to move forward in the face of personal and organizational hurdles such as reducing structural workforce disparities through policy alignment, knowledge, and self-awareness, and generating engagement through culturally-centered news. Her work also examines the potential mental health impact on employees and executives as they face a demand to dismantle inequity in the workforce and beyond.Â
She holds a PhD in Business Psychology with a research focus on psychological capital (hope, efficacy, resiliency, and optimism) and employee engagement. She holds a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in African American families, and a B.A. in Business Administration. She is a certified Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practitioner.Â
